Why 2 coats ?

To achieve optimal results when painting a room or surface, it is advisable to apply a minimum of two coats of paint. This approach ensures even distribution and enhances the durability of the paint, making it resistant to chipping and fading. While a single coat may provide coverage, it may not guarantee the desired outcome in terms of a seamless finish and long-lasting results.

In certain cases, it may be necessary to apply more than two coats of paint, depending on the surface. For instance, flaky ceilings and walls may require an undercoat after preparation, followed by multiple top coats. Furthermore, a three-coat system is recommended for doors, windows, and skirting, as water enamel is utilized instead of oil-based.
